研究室の主な研究テーマとしては、
エージェントシステムや自然言語処理などの人工知能、
XML/RDFとアノテーションを基盤としたコンテンツ技術、
実世界と情報世界の統合技術に関するものがあります。
具体的には、ビデオアノテーション、ディスカッションからの知識発見、
個人用知的移動体とその応用などが含まれます。
新しいテーマにも興味のおもむくままに積極的に取り組んでいきます。

Welcome to Nagao Laboratory at Nagoya University.
This laboratory is engaging in researches mainly on artificial intelligence including agent and robotic systems and natural language processing, digital content technologies including semantic annotation, retrieval, and transcoding, and human-computer interaction based on integration of information spaces and the real world.
Several applications are also being developed such as a conversational robot, multimedia annotation and semantic video search, musical annotation and music summarization, knowledge discovery from discussion, personal intelligent vehicles and their applications, and so forth.
