Abstract

In this paper, we focus on the casual meeting, which can be easily held by using a whiteboard, and propose a system to stimulating discussions. First we record pen actions when a participant draws something on a whiteboard and typing actions when a secretary types keywords that reflects the content of the remarks in synchronization with audio-visual data. Then, our system stimulates discussions by displaying the drawings and keywords on the time line. Presenting the recorded keywords to all participants prevents them from forgetting the content of the discussions. Also presenting the distribution of the remarks makes them to consider the opinion has not come out. Then, the participants can make a new opinion by inspecting the minutes, and recall past discussions.
